I'm offering this performance to the Stonington community as part of a playwriting/mentoring residency I'm currently engaged in, till mid-January, working on my play The End (the end of the world, during a cocktail party at John DeLorean's Malibu beach house), and a musical contemporary creation myth Noah's Ark play by Maizy Scarpa and Clara Strauch called Wayward Home.

Performance at the wonderful theater at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, MA, known for its "Lavender Doors." "Second Act" Panel includes Kevin Coleman, theater director at Riggs and Director of Education at Shakespeare & Co; and Dr. Andrew Gerber, Medical Director at Austen Riggs.

Performance in very cool jazz/performance bar (w/full bar), Club 121, at Eastworks. "Second Act" panel includes Stephen Philbrick, poet, author, and minister of The West Cummington Congregational Church; Irvine Sobelman, a registered nurse and  key member of Climate Action Now in Northampton; and Robert Meeropol, son of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, founder of the Rosenberg Fund for Children.  

NEYT is a great place, an example of what amazing good a theater can do for its community. I'm deeply happy to have been associated with the company over the years, and am keenly looking forward to directing Twelfth Night later this summer! This is a benefit performance, for Angels in the Wings, a scholarship program. NEYT does not turn anyone away for lack of tuition money.

Fathers' Day (!!) Matinee Show at the wonderful Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield

This is a special performance in a series celebrating the collaboration between solo theater and music artists. In this case, Bobby Sweet, a singer/songwriter from the Berkshires, and I will work together to build a one-of-a-kind evening, a partially improvised duet for prose and song.
